Priya Abani

Chief Executive Officer

Priya Abani brings more than 20 years of experience in building high-performing organizations, launching innovative products on a global scale, and leading cross-industry strategic alliances.

As AliveCor CEO, Priya is leading the drive to patient-centric remote cardiological care. Under Priya’s leadership, the company has built the largest AI-driven consumer subscription service in the world for cardiovascular care. AliveCor has put its technology in the hands of more than 1.5 million people in 40 countries around the world. Priya led the company’s recent growth into enterprise markets with reimbursed cardiac monitoring services for healthcare providers, partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations for remote cardiac safety testing and is overseeing the development of a comprehensive condition management service offering for cardiology.

Prior to joining AliveCor, Priya served as the General Manager at Alexa Voice Service (AVS) at Amazon, where she was responsible for leading product, engineering, technical enablement, and developer experience teams and led the expansion of Alexa technology into partner products. Earlier in her career, Priya was a Senior Director of Customer Enablement and Solutions Integration at Intel.

David E. Albert, MD

Founder, Chief Medical Officer

David E. Albert, MD, an Oklahoma native, is a physician, inventor and serial entrepreneur who has developed life-saving technologies and products over the last 30 years, turning a number of those innovations into tech startups. Today, he is a founder of three technology companies, InnovAlarm, Lifetone Technology, and AliveCor. His previous startups include Corazonix Corp (sold to Arrhythmia Research Technology) and Data Critical (sold to GE). Dr. Albert left GE in 2004 as Chief Scientist of GE Cardiology to disrupt several new markets.

His latest invention, AliveCor’s KardiaMobile personal ECG technology, became a global sensation via a YouTube Video in January 2011 around the Consumer Electronics Show and was featured on ABC, CBS, CNN and Fox News among many other media outlets. Dr. Albert has 32 issued US patents, a large number pending and several new “secret inventions” in development. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific abstracts and publications, principally in the cardiology literature. Dr. Albert has lectured at the Entrepreneurship programs at the MIT Sloan School and the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Albert graduated with Honors from Harvard College and from Duke University Medical School.

Clyde Hosein

Chief Financial Officer

Clyde Hosein brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate financial management. As Chief Financial Officer at AliveCor, Clyde oversees the company’s global finance operations, investor relationships, legal affairs and HR.

Throughout his career, Clyde has served as CFO at multiple technology companies—including RingCentral, Marvell Technology Group, and Automation Anywhere—and spent 14 years in several finance and engineering roles at IBM. Clyde has overseen financial operations at companies public and private; he has managed the successful raise of billions of dollars of equity capital; and, he has successfully navigated rapid growth and an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Siva Somayajula

Chief Technology Officer

Siva Somayajula has more than 20 years of experience in software development and engineering. As Chief Technology Officer at AliveCor, Siva oversees all hardware, software, and artificial intelligence engineering. He also leads the development of new products and services for both consumer and enterprise customers.

Prior to his role at AliveCor, Siva served as a Director of Product Software and Services for Amazon consumer electronics. During this tenure, he oversaw the development of a range of technology programs, including connectivity, multimedia, smart home control, and the integration of Amazon technologies to third party platforms. Siva built and led the wireless software engineering team for products such as the Fire Phone, Fire Tablets, and Kindle.

Alfred Woo

Chief Product Officer

Alfred Woo brings nearly 20 years of product management and product marketing experience to AliveCor, where he and his team manage the portfolio of innovative devices and services for consumer and clinical markets. Alfred has the varied mindset that comes from having developed strategic products in a broad range of industries, including digital media and services, semiconductor, and consumer electronics.

Prior to AliveCor, Alfred was Principle Product Manager with Alexa Voice Service (AVS) at Amazon, where he worked with technology partners to develop signal processing and voice recognition solutions for Alexa-enabled devices. He has also brought leading human interface technologies to market as Director of Product Marketing at Synaptics. Alfred received his engineering degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Sanjay Voleti

Chief Strategy Officer

Sanjay Voleti brings more than 20 years of experience in hardware, software, and product management, as well as business leadership across semiconductors, services, and consumer electronics. As Chief Strategy Officer at AliveCor, Sanjay oversees mergers and acquisitions, in addition to manufacturing operations, to drive AliveCor’s growth and vision.

Prior to AliveCor, Sanjay led Engineering and Product Management for Alexa Voice Service (AVS) at Amazon. He has also held several General Manager positions at Texas Instruments, leading global R&D and business operations teams. Earlier in his career, Sanjay held a variety of engineering and business roles at Silicon Labs, Cirrus Logic, and Motorola.

Vincent Balsamo

Executive Vice President, Global Sales

Vincent Balsamo has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare and technology industries across sales, business development, services, and marketing. As EVP of Global Sales at AliveCor, Vince is responsible for US/EMEA/APAC Enterprise Sales and oversees AliveCor Labs, Enterprise, Biopharma, Employers, Payers, and Healthcare Systems Sales teams.

Prior to joining AliveCor, Vince has held several leadership roles in telehealth, digital therapeutics, and digital health spaces, achieving exceptional results in both early-stage startups and global Fortune 100 companies. He was SVP of Business Development, Sales, Services, and Marketing at Avizia, in addition to serving as VP of Sales at Salesforce, overseeing the US Health Plan segment for the Marketing Cloud business unit. Vince has also held leadership roles at Cisco and IBM throughout his tenure.

Jessica Weinstein

Senior Vice President, Marketing

Jessica Weinstein is a seasoned global marketing leader with 20 years of experience driving marketing initiatives to impact consumers’ lives and deliver meaningful business results. Throughout her career, she has led multiple acquisitions and integrations, launched dozens of successful new products, and created award-winning campaigns.

Previously, Jessica was Global Head of Respiratory and US Healthcare Expansion at Reckitt and Head of Respiratory at GSK, leading blockbuster brands including Mucinex, Airborne, Flonase, and Nicorette.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing at AliveCor, Jessica oversees Consumer, Healthcare, Employer/Payer, and Biopharma marketing.

Brian Clarke

General Counsel

Brian Clarke brings more than 20 years of legal experience to his role as General Counsel at AliveCor. Throughout his career, Brian has advised and supported executive staff and board members for publicly traded and privately held companies. He has extensive subject matter experience in transactions, licensing, privacy (HIPAA & GDPR), security compliance (SOC2 & ISO27001), regulatory, M&A, financings, and IP procurement and enforcement.

Prior to AliveCor, Brian was a founding partner at Clarke IP Law. He also served as Director of Intellectual Property at both Accuray Incorporated and NeoGuide Systems, Inc. Brian has worked for several marquee Silicon Valley IP law firms advising clients in patent litigation, portfolio development, strategic patent analysis, IP due diligence, transaction negotiations, and agreement drafting. Brian received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.

Archana Dubey, MD

Chief Clinical Officer

Archana Dubey has more than 25 years of experience as a physician, executive, entrepreneur, and strategic adviser. In her role as Chief Clinical Officer at AliveCor, Archana is developing a comprehensive cardiovascular condition management solution for employers and payers that integrates KardiaMobile remote ECG technology with coaches and clinicians, all on one AI-informed platform, to deliver simple and smart healthcare solutions to patients, providers, and payers.

Archana also serves as HP’s Chief Medical Officer consultant, directing population health strategy for the health and wellness programs for the global HP population, and as healthcare consultant for HP’s healthcare products. She also serves on HP’s Scientific Advisory Board for their future clinical products. As an entrepreneur and digital health evangelist, Archana founded the Invent Health platform in 2017, which bridges together venture capital funds, health systems, and digital health solutions to help initiatives have a chance of survival and scale, from funding to adoption.

As a primary care physician, Archana has worked to improve lives, one patient at a time. Always striving to push boundaries, she has provided clinical leadership to large self-insured employers, helping with the population health strategy and benefit design, thereby expanding the impact and reaching a much larger number of patients.

Ben Green, MD

Senior Vice President, Services

Dr. Ben Green has nearly 15 years of experience in telemedicine. As SVP of Services at AliveCor, Dr. Green oversees all care delivery and clinical operations. He continuously explores new ways to deliver high-quality, clinically meaningful, and customer-centric experiences for AliveCor users.

Prior to joining AliveCor, Dr. Green spent several years at Amazon as the founding Chief Medical Officer for Amazon’s first pursuit into virtual care delivery, Amazon Care, and later as the Principal of Healthcare Innovation for Amazon Global Benefits. Dr. Green has also served as Regional Medical Director at Landmark Health, an at-risk housecall model, and spent eight years at Carena, Inc., an early telemedicine company offering virtual services for health systems and employers. Dr. Green holds a BA from Harvard University, an MD degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical school, and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Nigel Blakeway

Nigel Blakeway is the CEO and Chairman of Omron Management Center of Americas. Prior to his tenure at Omron, Blakeway held positions at Panasonic Corporation and Phillips Components, Inc.

Toby Cosgrove, M.D.

Executive Advisor, Former President and CEO, Cleveland Clinic

Toby Cosgrove served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cleveland Clinic for 13 years, where he was responsible for overseeing the quality of care for millions of patients annually. Dr. Cosgrove has also earned an international reputation for his expertise in cardiothoracic surgery, having performed more than 22,000 lifesaving operations.

Sebastian Thrun

CEO, Kitty Hawk Corporation and Chairman & Co-Founder, Udacity

Sebastian Thrun is the CEO of Kitty Hawk Corporation, an American electric aircraft manufacturer. Thrun is also a Chairman and Co-Founder of Udacity, an educational organization offering online courses in programming, data science, and more. Thrun’s previous roles include Vice President at Google, where he founded Google X and Google’s self-driving car team.

Ranndy Kellogg

President & CEO, Omron Healthcare

Ranndy Kellogg is the President and CEO of Omron Healthcare, Inc. Under his leadership, Omron has seen significant development in groundbreaking heart health technologies and formed strategic partnerships that have driven innovation on a global scale. Prior to his position at Omron, Kellogg held executive positions in marketing at Baxter International and CR Bard.

Ryan Phillips

Principal, WP Global Partners

Ryan Phillips serves as Principal at WP Global Partners, where he is involved in sourcing and investment diligence for private equity funds, secondaries, co-investments and portfolio management. Before his tenure at WP Global Partners, Phillips worked at Alternative Investment Products at Envestnet Asset Management as head of product management and due diligence.
